Daily Reporter is an independent digital news and content platform managed by the students of Journalism (English and Odia) and Corporate Communication & Brand Management at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Dhenkanal. Functioning as a live newsroom, it provides hands-on experience in reporting, editing, and publishing through a Content Management System (CMS).
The platform enables students to cover campus events, current affairs, and social issues while experimenting with multimedia storytelling and digital publishing. It also fosters community engagement by highlighting local voices, regional culture, and social change. Through this initiative, IIMC Dhenkanal promotes experiential learning and prepares students to become socially responsible, future-ready media professionals.
